(no subject)

I've pretty much decided that I'm going to make a new LJ. I don't know when yet, but possibly soon.
This one is so boring and uneventful and I'm sick of looking at it. The new one will probably be updated daily with art, life!photos, (maybe graphics if I can get myself to start making some) and writings. I also plan on gathering a better f-list because mine right now is just basically communities.
Soooo.....yeah. I'll update this post again with the link to my new LJ...
Gosh life sucks on AND off the inter-web.....

I Got To Say

Merry Christmas everyone!
Hope you all are feeling the holiday spirit and are bringing smiles to the ones you love.

I would spill the news on what I got, but I'm tired. Wrapping presents for the twins is tiring. I need more coffee.
Anyways, if you're all cheery and happy, throw some my way, I'm feeling rather old. Guess that is the effect taking care of kids does...lol. Now I understand my mom.

Side note: Sent in a couple of applications for a few jobs the other day. I'm hoping I get a call from the local gym close by because that's the job I want the most. Other than that, if they don't call for an interview, I know the Primo's restaurant will because the owner knows my parents really well and he would just love to have me come work for him. But aside from all that I have nothing to talk about. Each day I keep growing into more of a bore.
Ugh I hate getting older.

Well it's about that time again. But before I get to the art dump, I just wanted to say...I've been watching Lion King again. I don't think anyone in my whole family has had a break since I saw the second one last week. I'm worse then my baby sisters (I think I'm wearing them out as well)
Anyways...for once in my life, I want to look at fuzzy lions on DA. WTF?!?!

An artist on DeviantART *Fealasy* made a damn good statement today about art.

Someone finally saw the light and it was good. Though I might have worded the thought better, I really think she expressed what a lot of artist have been thinking lately. I mean the way talent is just side-stepped now is depressing.
This...this is why I refuse to post my oh so "wonderful" fanart. Fanart is for fun, for laughs. My art that I want the real art world to see is special and means something to me. THAT is why I will not participate in destroying what I love so much. My art is not just a hobby anymore...I want to make it my life, the way I put bread on the table.

So with that said...NO SAKURACHAN BOARDS I WILL NOT GET A DA UNTIL I AM READY TO SHARE MY REAL ART!!!!
